    FUTURISTIC FEATURES

    BF100 Developed for Honda’s high-performance F1 sport cars, VTEC varies the lift and duration of the intake valves to provide optimum performance both at low and high rpm. VTEC delivers at low speeds, smooth stable idling with reduction in fuel consumption, while the increased valve lift at higher speeds broadens the torque curve and top end power.  

    ECONOMIC POWER

    BF100 Along with Honda’s Programmed Fuel Injection, the BF100 incorporates Lean Burn Control technology, which allows combustion to operate on a leaner air/fuel ratio than stoichiometric air/fuel. An O2 sensor, together with the ECM, precisely controls the air/fuel mixture for the best fuel economy at cruise setting. The mode in which lean burn control is used during cruising to achieve higher fuel economy is referred to as ECOmo (Economy Controlled Motor).  

    BLAST TECHNOLOGY

    BF100 Honda’s revolutionary Boosted Low Speed Torque (BLAST™) technology boosts engine torque at low RPM under rapid acceleration. BLAST™ traces the air/fuel ratio that results in the maximum torque for each engine revolution, while simultaneously tracing the maximum knock limit ignition timing that can be obtained using a rich air/fuel ratio in the full throttle zone and advances the ignition timing to the limit, in order to produce greater torque This boost in horsepower and torque at low rpm contributes to strong hole shot performance to get the hull up on plane quickly!

    BF100 - ALT The BF100 has the best in class charging performance with a 44-amp alternator. This means your outboard is now able to charge the battery faster and power more accessories, so that you can now run that little bit of extra tech on the boat to help find the perfect catch.

    BF30 Honda's BF30 boasts a host of innovative features, allowing you, your passengers, and the environment to breathe a little easier. As 4-Stroke engines can run on regular unleaded petrol, there's no need to mix oil and petrol. As a result, even at idle there's no need to worry about unpleasant fumes that are common with inferior two-stroke engines. On electric start models, the BF30's Auto Start Enrichment automatically adjusts the air/fuel mixture for quick, easy starting and warm-up - just like fuel injection.          

    VERSATILITY AND POWER

    BF30 The BF30 is a compact and lightweight powerplant that combines Honda's world-renowned reliability with instant throttle response and extraordinarily smooth, stable and quiet operation. This engine incorporates a number of user-friendly features that enable maximum on-water enjoyment, whether trolling in the shallows or motoring across open water. With a compact three-cylinder, three-carburettor design utilising one carburettor per cylinder, the BF30 is more responsive than competitive throttle bodies with long intake runners.

    CENTRE MOUNT TILLER

    BF30 Tiller The ergonomically-designed tiller handle is longer for improved handling. Adjustments for throttle and steering friction allow easier control. Up front shift lever, PTT switch, and engine alert lamps provide added convenience. The BF30 also features Dual Action Power Trim and Tilt. That means you'll get better hull manoeuvrability and performance with a Trim Range of -4º to +12º and a Tilt range of 67º. And to keep your boat in top condition, a built-in pilot tube in the gear case eliminates the need to drill holes in your boat for installation.

    BF30 For one, a patented 'double sealed' multilayered paint process, sacrificial anodes and stainless steel technology, along with waterproof connectors, all enhance corrosion protection. Other tiller handle functions include handle height adjustment, throttle friction adjustment and tool-less steering grip friction adjustment. The BF60's reversible shift lever can also be mounted on either the left or right side. And the handle also comes standard with a trolling control switch, meaning you can make fine speed adjustments (per 50RPM between 750-1000RPM) with a single switch operation.

An O2 sensor, together with the ECM, precisely controls the air/fuel mixture for the best fuel economy at cruise setting. The mode in which lean burn control is used during cruising to achieve higher fuel economy is referred to as ECOmo (Economy Controlled Motor).

    NMEA2000 Honda is wired for the future; this is why the new outboards come standard with NMEA2000 connectivity. Equipment designed to the NMEA2000 standard has the ability to share and display data, including commands and status with other compatible equipment over a single channel.
