Gas assist tilt
Gas Assist function makes it easy to tilt the engine for running in shallow water, or raise it completely out of the water for protection.
Dual action power trim
Get better hull maneuverability and performance with Honda’s power trim and tilt models. Trim range is -4° to +12°

The BF30s tiller is ergonomically designed for exceptional comfortable control. Including optional remote control models
Fresh water flushing and 3-way cooling
A 3 Inlet Cooling System provides plenty of water to maintain optimum engine temperature in all conditions, and the Fresh Water Flushpoint flushes debris and saltwater out of the engine, extending the life of the outboard.
Engine protection and security
Alert systems monitor critical engine functions including engine temperature, oil pressure, fuel injection and charging. This notifies the boat operator of any abnormal conditions. An audible buzzer and warning light will be activated if a fault is detected (BF40 – BF250), whereas on non PGM-FI outboards (remote control models), the alert system will monitor engine temperature and oil pressure. (BF10 – BF30)
